HIDESHI KIBI

Born in Osaka, Japan.

Started studying accordion under Chikaie Yoshida.

Received the third prize at All Japan Accordion Competition held in Hokkaido.

Won the first prize at All Japan Accordion Festival held in Tokyo. Started career as a professional accordionist. Performed throughour Japan at Daimaru Department store as part of French exhibition.

Became a member of the house band of the restaurant “”Edelweiss” in Osaka. Also regularly performed at “Chansoniere Paris Caneille” in Kyoto.

Worked as a musical program teacher at Osaka mental deficiency institution.

Produced the back-ground music for Sharp Corporation to their computer software “New Print Shop”.

Produced music for Broader Band to their computer game software “Wings”.

The first person to lecture and to give a performance of the accordion at Osaka Art University.

Moved to Rome, Italy

Collaborated with Francesca Schiavo for her CD “Lo sai ci vuole amore” and performed at Festival della canzone Italiana in San Remo, as a member of her musical group.

Performed on various TV programs, .eg. “Domenica in (RAIUNO)” and “Top San Remo (RAIUNO)”along with Francesca Schiavo, “Mattina Estate(RAIUNO)” as a soloist.

Released first album “IL SEGRETO DELLA VIA LATTEA” from www.webmusiccompany.com. This website was changed to www.vinile.com, and closed in 2002.

Produced set of stickers of cartoon “SCHELETROCK” from MONDO TV publisher in Italy.

Published five series of picture books “SCHELETROCK” and CD from MONDO TV publisher in Italy.
